- ACT, also known as The Agents Council for Technology, is a program under the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America – the Big 'I'.
- ACT was established in January 1999 to provide an action-oriented forum to address technology issues facing the independent agency system.
- Supporting ACT provides opportunities for carriers, technology providers and other industry organizations to understand the perspectives of other stakeholders and to share their industry expertise in a neutral, non-competitive environment.
- Participants also have excellent opportunities to network and help shape the industry's technology conversation.
- While our Supporting Partners are insurance carriers, technology providers and other industry organizations, all Big 'I' member agencies are automatically ACT members. ACT exists to serve those agent members and assist them with leveraging technology to enable their business strategies.
